Firas Bazzari Promoted to Associate Professor of Pharmacology & Clinical Pharmacy

Firas Bazzari, PhD, was recently promoted to Associate Professor of Pharmacology & Clinical Pharmacy at Jerash University, Department of Pharmacy.

Dr. Bazzari has been an ASPET member since 2017 and is a member of the Division of Neuropharmacology. His research involves clinical and community pharmacy practice, focusing on pharmacotherapy of neuropsychiatric disorders, with over 30 published articles and conference proceedings.

In 2022, Dr. Bazzari joined Jerash University in Jordan as an assistant professor and was appointed Head of the Pharmacy Department in 2023. Prior to that, he was the Founding Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Arab American University. Dr. Bazzari is also an active member of multiple international associations and committees aiming to improve pharmacy practice and public health. Dr. Bazzari holds a BSc in Pharmacy from the Applied Science University, MSc in Clinical Pharmacology from the University of Aberdeen, and a PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Cairo University.
