Dr. Judith Cole (1955–2025)
Dr. Judith Cole was a member of ASPET for over 30 years, joining in 1994. She received her PhD from the University of Connecticut and began her career in 1985 at the University of Missouri. In 2003, Dr. Cole joined the University of Memphis Department of Biological Sciences, where she had the privilege of teaching students throughout her career, and established a legacy of mentorship. Dr. Cole established the Agricultural and Conservation Research and Education Trainee Assistantship Grant to support the next generation of researchers in agriculture and conservation, which reflects her lifelong commitment to mentoring students and advancing collaborative science.
