ASPET Capitol Hill Day
About 40 ASPET members and staff attended the Society’s first stand-alone Capitol Hill Day on May 15, 2024. A total of 64 congressional meetings took place with 33 House visits, and 31 Senate visits with Members of Congress and staff covering 19 states and D.C.
ASPET Advocacy Workshop
ASPET’s Government Affairs and Science Policy team led an Advocacy Science Workshop, where they simulated a vote with one individual sharing their compelling reasons for support. The workshop took place on the morning of May 16, prior to the annual meeting opening.
