Carolina B. A. Restini, PharmD, PhD, FAAPE, Promoted to Professor at Michigan State University
Carolina B. A. Restini, PharmD, PhD, FAAPE, has been promoted to the rank of Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the Michigan State University (MSU) College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Since joining MSU in 2017, Dr. Restini has contributed extensively to pharmacology education, curriculum innovation, and community-engaged scholarship. She currently serves as Pharmacology Thread Director for the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine program and Director of the Foundry for Innovative Research and Education (FIRE), where she leads initiatives integrating medical education, research, and community partnerships. Her scholarship focuses on pharmacology education, competency-based medical education, and cardiovascular pharmacology, with an emphasis on experiential learning and preparing future healthcare professionals.
Dr. Restini has been an active ASPET member, serving on the Division for Pharmacology Education Executive Committee, organizing educational programming, mentoring trainees, and contributing to initiatives that advance excellence in pharmacology education.
