Bruce D. Hammock, PhD, a member of ASPET since 2003, passed away on January 4, 2026. During his distinguished career, Dr. Hammock authored over 1,500 peer-reviewed papers and collaborated with more than 3,500 scientists across the world. A Distinguished Professor at UC Davis, and an acclaimed member of that university’s Department of Entomology and Nematology, Dr. Hammock was also an elected member of the National Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Inventors (among other honors).
